About Us

We are a small, family-run kite school. We pride ourselves on our personal approach and friendly atmosphere. We are constantly learning and improving our skills. We always use the latest equipment. Safety is our top priority, and we take each client’s individual abilities into account.

Founding Bussan

Bussan was officially founded in 2013, but we had already been organizing events long before that. After graduating from the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport (FTVS) and driven by our unwavering passion for sports, we dedicated ourselves to various sports disciplines—whitewater courses, cycling, skiing, hiking, and via ferrata.

For the past few years, we’ve been focusing and specializing in our greatest passion: kitesurfing. Kitesurfing courses—we pour all our energy and passion into them. We’ve become IKO instructors (IKO is the International Kiteboarding Organization) and follow their teaching methodology. We’re constantly learning and improving our skills. We always have the latest equipment and teach one-on-one using walkie-talkies.

From the other sports we used to practice, we’ve retained our love for the mountains and pass it on through via ferrata courses.

Dušan

Kiteboarding Instructor & Mountain Guide

He graduated from Charles University’s Faculty of Physical Education and Sport (FTVS). He started kitesurfing in 2010. In 2012, he taught for a Czech kitesurfing school for the first time, and he has run his own kitesurfing school since 2014. He holds an IKO international kitesurfing license.

Petra

Kiteboarding Instructor & Organization

Charles University – Faculty of Physical Education and Sport (FTVS). That’s where she met Dušan, who introduced her to the magic of kitesurfing. She has been kitesurfing since 2012 and is an IKO instructor. She handles all administrative tasks and client communications.

David

Kiteboarding instructor & paragliding enthusiast

A kitesurfing veteran who took up the sport in 2009. A few years later, the wind carried him to New Zealand and Australia, where he fell in love with paragliding. He now combines his passion for both sports as an instructor.

Vašek

Technical Expert & Instructor

Vašek is a rarity in the kite world—anyone who kites is sure to know the nickname "Leguán." He’s an expert on all kinds of gear. He’ll explain everything to you and fix anything. An expert on chamber kites. He has many years of experience as an instructor and equipment technician.
